Leif Erickson

I'm a 20-year-old creative, born and raised in Hudson County, New Jersey.

As a filmmaker, my work is rooted in human experience. I have a passion for working with real people—those who may not come from creative backgrounds, yet carry the rawest forms of expression. Working with non-professionals is often the more difficult route, but it usually leads to something original rather than recycled. I believe creativity isn’t defined by profession or resources, but by perspective. Some of the most powerful ideas come from those who’ve had the least chance to bring them to life.

Growing up in the melting pot of the world has shaped me into a storyteller driven by authenticity. I create work that feels real—not filtered through trends, politics, or algorithms, but grounded in the kind of truth you can feel.

In May of 2026, I will be graduating with a B.F.A. in Film from Syracuse University. Right now, I’m the Creative Director at Spcy, a streetwear brand where ‘street meets soil’— I also serve as Creative Director, Cinematographer, and Editor at PVO Media. My craft is backed by 8 years of video editing with Adobe and 4 years behind the camera.
